About the Event

CrossFunRun 2026 invites runners of all ages to experience the unique charm and scenic beauty of Ahrensburg-Wulfsdorf on August 30, 2026. The race is held at Heidkoppelhof, a picturesque location surrounded by lush farmland and rolling hills where sheep graze peacefully.
Participants will enjoy an engaging course that winds through fields and pastures, offering both flat stretches and challenging terrain with elevation changes. For young athletes, the event offers distinct distance options tailored to various age groups: 5 kilometers for U20 and U18 runners, 3 kilometers for U16 and U14 competitors, and a shorter 2-kilometer race for U12 and U10 participants. Additionally, there's an introductory Kids CrossFunRun of just 500 meters designed specifically for children under the age of eight.
The day will culminate with a team relay event, where groups of three or four can compete in a challenging 4-kilometer race around Heidkoppelhof’s unique landscapes. All runners who complete their respective distances are rewarded with medals and certificates to celebrate their achievements.
Registration on-site is possible from 10:00 to 11:00, but participants will need to pay an additional €5 fee for late registration. The event supports inclusivity in sports through its partnership with WEcycle e.V., a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting equality and diversity within athletic communities.
Beyond the races themselves, CrossFunRun offers a full day of activities including live music performances, line dancing sessions, and food stalls serving delicious treats. Parents can rest assured that their children will be entertained during the main race events with an on-site "Hof-Olympiade," featuring various interactive games for kids to enjoy.
The award ceremonies are scheduled at approximately 12:15 PM for younger runners and around 2:15 PM for adult competitors, ensuring a festive atmosphere as athletes receive recognition for their efforts.
For those traveling from afar, ample parking is available near the event grounds or at the public car park in Ahrensburg (Bornkampsweg). Cyclists are also welcome to secure their bikes safely on-site.
