Whether you're an experienced swimmer or a first-timer, there's something for every level: challenge yourself over 3000 meters, enjoy the scenic beauty in a more relaxed setting at 1500 meters, or take in the stunning views during a shorter 750-meter swim.
All participants are required to wear only a swimsuit and goggles. Wet suits are optional but highly recommended for first-time open-water swimmers as they provide buoyancy and keep you warmer throughout your swim. Short wetsuits or armless versions are also acceptable, ensuring comfort in the sea waters of Dawlish Warren.
Safety is paramount at this event, with comprehensive coverage provided by Teignmouth Beach Surf Live Saving Club to ensure a secure environment for all participants. Upon crossing the finish line, every competitor will receive a medal as a testament to their achievement and bravery. The top three finishers in each category will also be recognized on the podium, complete with prizes that celebrate your hard-earned success.
The event offers public liability insurance coverage, giving you peace of mind while enjoying one of the most picturesque sea swims along the coast. After completing your swim, refuel at our post-race refreshment station where a variety of gels and snacks are available to help replenish energy levels and celebrate your accomplishment in style.
