Deep Creek Trail Half Marathon

The Deep Creek Trail Half Marathon returns to Telluride, Colorado on September 26th, offering runners a challenging course through the scenic Last Dollar Road and Deep Creek Corral trails. The race begins at the Telluride Airport, located at 2100 Airport Road in Telluride, where participants will start their journey along the trailhead that winds through Aspen-filled woods back to the town of Telluride.
On race morning, temperatures are expected to range between a cool minimum of 3.1°C and a mild maximum of 18.3°C with an average temperature of around 10.7°C. The atmosphere will be dry but humid at about 59%, making for comfortable running conditions despite the possibility of light rainfall totaling approximately 1.5mm during the day, which could slightly soften the firm trail surface.

Bib pick up can be done on Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm at Jagged Edge Store in Telluride, or alternatively at the start line located at the Telluride Airport starting Saturday morning by 9:30 am. All participants must check-in prior to race time which is set for a prompt 10:30 am departure.
Runners should arrive prepared with appropriate gear and hydration as well as identification showing they are of legal age; no specific equipment or documentation beyond personal identification is required unless mandated by the event organizers ahead of schedule. The finish line will close at precisely 3:30 pm after which a sweeper vehicle will assist remaining racers back to town.
