This event, now part of the prestigious TransRockies Race Series following its transformation from Co2uT, promises a challenging yet rewarding journey through some of Colorado’s most captivating backcountry. The course offers a variety of distances, ranging from 30 miles to an ambitious 125-mile route, with electric bikes welcome on all tracks. Each mile is meticulously designed to test your endurance and technical skills as you navigate gritty descents, chunky stretches, and soul-stirring gravel pitches that will keep every rider engaged. Led by Kevin Kane, a seasoned local race director who has been instrumental in shaping the event’s unique character over the years, Desert Gravel ensures an unforgettable experience. The support team provides fully stocked aid stations, professional timing from Zone 4, on-course medical assistance, and customized swag for participants. Upon completing your ride, enjoy an epic post-race lunch alongside cold drinks to celebrate your achievement.
