Devil on the Divide

Devil on the Divide awaits runners seeking an unparalleled trail running experience along Colorado's Continental Divide. Scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2026, this race offers two challenging courses: a 50K and a 22K journey through the stunning Clear Creek County.
The 50K route presents participants with over 6,500 feet of elevation gain, reaching altitudes surpassing 13,000 feet. This rigorous course is entirely on dirt trails, mostly single track, weaving through some of Colorado's most breathtaking landscapes. For the shorter 22K distance, runners will still climb more than 3,400 feet as they traverse a challenging yet rewarding path.
Due to the race’s remote and high-altitude setting, prior ultra running experience is essential for those tackling the full 50K course. Participants in the 22K should also have trail running experience at such elevations. Both courses are meticulously designed with stunning scenery that matches their demanding terrain, ensuring a visually captivating journey.
