DFW Jingle Jog - 5k run and 1 mile family walk

Embrace the holiday spirit on December 12, 2026, with the JingleJog 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run at Birdville High School's Fine Arts & Athletic Center Stadium Parking Lot. This family-friendly event invites participants of all ages to celebrate the season in festive attire as they jog or stroll along a scenic course that loops around Hometown neighborhood lake.
Registration opens from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM, followed by warm-up activities and Christmas carols at 8:30 AM. The 5K race kicks off promptly at 9:00 AM, with the one-mile fun run starting shortly after at 9:15 AM.
Participants are encouraged to don their silliest holiday costumes — think Santa hats, Grinch gloves, or elf shoes — and enjoy jingle bells provided for shoelaces. The event welcomes everyone from serious runners to those who prefer a leisurely pace, ensuring that all can participate in the joyous atmosphere.
Post-race festivities include an awards ceremony recognizing top finishers and best-dressed participants, as well as opportunities for photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, cookies, cocoa, and other treats.
Registration fees before December 1 ensure correct shirt sizes: $30 per individual or $100 for a team of four; after this date, rates increase to $40 per person or $140 for teams. Business sponsorships are also available to support local high school students involved in HUB Young Life.
All proceeds from the JingleJog go towards providing leadership development and mentoring programs that help young people thrive both personally and spiritually through activities like camp scholarships and community engagement.
Join us on December 12, 2026, for an unforgettable day of fun, fitness, and festive cheer.
