Dino Dash 5K Run/Walk

Experience the Dino Dash, a fun-filled race that invites runners of all ages to explore the scenic trails around Discovery Peak Charter School. Participants can choose between running or walking a 5K route starting and ending at the school grounds.
The course winds through Morning Star Park before heading along Badger Road's pedestrian path for an out-and-back loop back to the finish line. This family-friendly event offers participants not only beautiful scenery but also the chance to engage with fellow community members in a relaxed atmosphere.
Competitors are divided into five categories based on age, ensuring fair competition across different stages of development:
- Adult (high school graduate and beyond)
- High School
- 6th-8th graders
- 3rd-5th graders
- A special category for children in 2nd grade and younger who can participate free-of-charge but are not eligible for prizes.
Registration includes the option to purchase limited edition t-shirts, available only while supplies last. All proceeds from this event directly benefit Discovery Peak Charter School, supporting its educational programs and community initiatives.
