The Dolomiti Extreme Trail (DXT), inaugurated in 2013, has rapidly established itself as one of Italy's premier trail running events. Known for its exceptional organization, warm hospitality, and breathtaking routes through the stunning Dolomite Mountains, DXT offers a variety of race distances to cater to runners at every level. The crown jewel is undoubtedly the 103K route, which winds through the majestic peaks surrounding Val di Zoldo, offering panoramic views that are nothing short of spectacular. Alongside this flagship event, there's also the equally captivating 72K and 55K races, each presenting unique challenges and scenic beauty. For those looking for a shorter yet no less thrilling experience, DXT offers the 35K, 22K, and 11K options. Additionally, the Mini DXT is designed specifically for young runners, providing an introduction to trail running in a safe and encouraging environment. All races longer than 22 kilometers are qualifying events for the Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc (UTMB) and participate in both the ITRA National League and the Europe Trail Cup championship. The Europe Trail Cup awards cash prizes to the top three finishers, men and women, in two categories: TRAIL (covering DXT's 22K, 35K, and 55K races), and ULTRA (for the 72K and 103K). The Dolomiti Extreme Trail promises an unforgettable adventure through some of Italy’s most beautiful landscapes. Whether you’re a seasoned ultra-runner or just starting out on your trail running journey, there is sure to be a race that suits your ambition. Join us for an incredible day in the mountains and experience why DXT has become such a beloved event among runners from around the world.
