Donaghadee 5k

On Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026, the picturesque coastal town of Donaghadee will host its annual 5k race sponsored by Rea Estates. The evening run begins at 19:30 from The Harbour and winds through scenic routes before crossing the finish line at The Commons.
Organized by Dee Runners, this certified course offers runners a unique blend of coastal charm and flat terrain, making it ideal for both seasoned athletes and casual joggers alike. Participants will enjoy well-measured paths that highlight Donaghadee's stunning waterfront views while contributing to two important causes: Marie Curie Northern Ireland and Women’s Aid North Down and Ards.
With only 375 spots available, the event guarantees a personalized experience for each runner. Upon completing the race, every finisher will receive an official chip time along with a bespoke medal commemorating their achievement. The course is meticulously measured and certified by ANI to ensure accuracy and fairness in timing.
