The Dover Middle School Pumpkin Dash 5k, an Official USAT&F Certified Course and part of the esteemed Dover Race Series, invites runners to lace up their shoes for a spirited autumn adventure. This family-friendly race not only offers participants the chance to enjoy a scenic 5K course but also features a vibrant costume contest with exciting prizes.
Located in the heart of Dover, this event promises an engaging experience that benefits students, families, and teachers at Dover Middle School. Bib pick-up is available on Friday, October 23 from 3-5:30 p.m. at DMSS or same-day registration begins at 8 a.m. with bib distribution starting at the same time.
The race kicks off promptly at 9:30 a.m., following an entertaining costume contest that starts at 9 a.m. Runners and walkers are encouraged to let their creativity shine by dressing up in imaginative costumes, adding a playful twist to this autumn tradition.
Participants will enjoy navigating through the charming streets of Dover while soaking in the festive atmosphere filled with community spirit and friendly competition. This event is not just about crossing the finish line; it's an opportunity for everyone to come together and support local education initiatives in style.
