Downingtown Track Stars Fall Run Club

PRACTICE. Practices are twice a week at Struble Trail and Kerr Park. Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings. More info sent after registration. Athletes are split into two age groups - elementary and middle school. All levels welcome. 

VOLUNTEER COACHING. All our coaches are student athletes who are trained and eager to teach athletes. Typically high school or college aged students sharing their love for the sport. SKILLS. Athletes will learn age appropriate skills for success on and off the trails. Our main goal is always fun, but we also want to develop young athletes for greatness! Track Stars Fall Run Club will have athletes building DISTANCE RUNNING abilities and aerobic capacities through running. Our program designed by Coach Chloe is based on running your own pace as we develop time capacities (running for 10+ minutes straight). Athletes will see significant progression through the 6-7 weeks. Athletes will learn the basics of distance running, form, and train general fitness. We also play lots of games that athletes don't even realize they are training! 

***This Club is not an elite competitive youth organization. If your athlete wants to compete in AAU or USATF sanctioned XC meets you may need to consider another program. Not a DASD affiliated extracurricular***
