Drone Valley Trail Half Marathon

Embark on an exhilarating journey through the picturesque Drone Valley for the second edition of the Drone Valley Trail Half Marathon. This 13.1-mile race offers runners a diverse and challenging course that winds its way through lush forests, rolling hills, serene fields, and tranquil riverside paths.
The event kicks off at 10:00am from the welcoming grounds of the Drone Valley Brewery in Unstone, where participants will start their adventure. Registration opens early at 9:15am, giving runners ample time to sign in and collect essential race materials including their bib numbers which must be worn prominently throughout the run.
The route is designed for both seasoned trail runners looking for a new challenge and those training towards their first marathon experience. The course features scenic stretches of well-maintained trails alongside sections that require careful navigation through more rugged terrain, complete with several steep climbs to test your endurance.
While much of the race follows established paths, there are road crossings where caution is advised; safety marshals will be stationed at particularly busy intersections to guide runners safely across. Participants should remain vigilant and aware throughout their run.
First aid stations will be strategically placed along key sections of the route for added peace of mind. However, it's important that all participants carry any necessary personal supplies such as medication or hydration aids during the race.
Upon completing the course, finishers can enjoy a sense of accomplishment at the Drone Valley Brewery where they started their journey. Runners will receive detailed written instructions and a GPX file for navigation purposes which may be updated before the event date; all participants will have access to these final versions via email two weeks prior to race day.
