Organized by ES Montgeron Athlétisme and the City of Montgeron, this milestone anniversary event invites you to conquer the legendary marathon distance through a unique team effort. Known for its ultra-flat course and "Zero-Waste" commitment, the Ekiden de Montgeron is the perfect spring challenge for everyone from first-time joggers to seasoned club athletes looking for a personal best.

The race format stays true to the tradition of Japanese relay racing, where a team of six takes on the 42.195 km marathon in a specific sequence: 5 km, 10 km, 5 km, 10 km, 5 km, and 7.195 km. For those looking for a shorter team experience, the popular 10 km Duo Relay returns to the schedule, allowing pairs to split the distance. The course begins along the iconic "Pelouse" before heading into the shaded, lightning-fast paths of the Sénart Forest. While the adults tackle their relays, a dedicated youth course ensures that children can also experience the thrill of the finish line.

As a 5th-anniversary special, participants can expect a festive atmosphere featuring a fresh visual identity by creator Flowhynot and an eco-friendly village hub.
