Ekiden de Touraine

Experience the ultimate team relay challenge at the **21st Ekiden de Touraine on Sunday, March 22, 2026**. Created in 2004 and now ranked among France's top five national Ekiden events, this prestigious race invites teams of six to conquer the marathon distance together on the roads of Ballan-Miré. Each runner completes a specific segment: 5km, 10km, 5km, 10km, 5km, and finally 7.195km—a true test of collective strategy and individual endurance. The event has hosted French Ekiden Championships in 2009 and 2012, and its 2025 edition attracted 350 teams, cementing its reputation beyond the Centre-Val de Loire region.

Registration requires either a valid FFA licence or a Pass Prévention Santé (PPS) obtained within three months of race day via pps.athle.fr.
