From March 27 to 29, 2026, the city of Genoa transforms into a mountain biking haven with the inaugural edition of Forte Enduro, the Regional Top Class Mountain Bike Enduro Championship. This unique event promises pure adrenaline as riders navigate three technical and spectacular stages that blend ancient fortifications with breathtaking coastal vistas.
The journey begins atop the historic 19th-century forts overlooking Genoa’s bustling port area before descending into the heart of Piazza della Vittoria, where modern urban life converges with historical grandeur. Participants will experience an unforgettable ride through trails that seamlessly connect rugged Ligurian landscapes to storied military architecture, offering panoramic views stretching from the peaks of the Apennines down to the azure waters of the Mediterranean.
Beyond its competitive edge, Forte Enduro is a celebration of sustainable sports and environmental stewardship, entirely free of plastic waste. The event highlights Genoa’s rich natural and urban heritage while welcoming riders across all age groups—from young talent to seasoned masters—in a three-day extravaganza.
Friday kicks off with the Track Walk, allowing participants an intimate look at each course before competition day. Saturday features official timed runs against the clock, testing skills on challenging terrain. The event culminates on Sunday, March 29th, as riders compete in the main race and enjoy a festive awards ceremony that recognizes their achievements.
