Enjoy Relay Marathon at Tama River (Held January 31, 2027) (エンジョイリレーマラソン@多摩川【2027年1月31日開催】)

This half-marathon relay on the Tama River in Takatsu Ward, Kawasaki, is run on a 1 km lap. Teams of 2 to 21 people share the distance, 3,500 yen per person, and distance, number of laps and running order are free, so strong and inexperienced runners can mix. A team representative aged 20 or over registers; junior high and elementary school children need a parent with them.
A running trainer, Takehito Torimitsu of Fitness Running, leads a warm-up and a running-form lesson before the start. A big rock-paper-scissors tournament gives every participant a chance at prizes regardless of results, and there is a costume runner category with a prize for the grand winner.
