ERR Labor Day Race

On Monday, September 7, 2026, the Eldersburg community will come together for the Labor Day 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run at Liberty High School. This annual race is organized by the Eldersburg Rogue Runners and serves as a significant fundraiser to support local runners, walkers, and cyclists.
The main event kicks off with the 5K run starting promptly at 9:00 am, followed by the shorter but equally enjoyable 1 Mile Fun Run beginning at 9:45 am. Participants can choose from various registration options depending on their preference for race shirts or just a bib number. Early registrants who sign up before July 4th will receive discounted rates.
Race-day packet pick-up is available, though specific locations are to be announced closer to the event date. Shirts are guaranteed only until August 15th, so early registration is recommended if you want to secure one of these commemorative items.
The race provides a perfect blend for both serious runners and casual participants looking for an engaging morning activity. The course winds through the scenic Eldersburg area, offering plenty of opportunities to enjoy the local scenery while running alongside fellow community members.
A portion of this year's proceeds will benefit three high schools in southern Carroll County: Liberty High School, Century High School, and South Carroll High School. This initiative aims to support educational programs and extracurricular activities for students within these institutions.
Businesses interested in sponsoring the event can do so with a variety of options ranging from $50 to $1000. Sponsor benefits include promotional posts on social media platforms, logo placement on both the ERR website and race banner, as well as one free entry into the Labor Day Race for each sponsor level.
