The title "Prince of Liège" is a tribute to the former principality of Liège. The expression also alludes to a unique aspect of the event: it attracts one of the youngest running crowds in Belgium. Nearly half of the participants are under 30! So, as befits its status, Liège will welcome you like a prince or princess on April 12, 2026, for the 17th edition of the Ethias 15km Liège Métropole.
Associations, businesses, schools, and sports enthusiasts come together in a friendly and festive atmosphere. The 15km race, and its shorter distances, offer a unique opportunity to explore the city in a different way, rediscover its neighborhoods and natural surroundings, and be part of an unforgettable collective experience. A shuttle bus, nicknamed the "tram," is even available to take you to your starting point or shuttle.
You are invited to join us on April 12th at the aviary (8km walk and children's races), on the Guillemins esplanade (7km and 15km), in Méry (18km walk), in Esneux (24km) and in Sprimont (45km) for the 17th edition of the Ethias 15km of Liège Métropole. All distances finish in style in the splendid Parc de la Boverie!

About Grivegnée
Grivegnée is a sub-municipality of the city of Liège located in the province of Liège, Wallonia, Belgium. It was a separate municipality until 1977. On 1 July 1871, Bressoux was detached from Grivegnée. On 1 January 1977, Grivegnée was merged into Liège.
