About the Event

Explor'Run Saint-Trojan invites runners of all ages to explore the unique landscapes and rich heritage of this charming coastal town on December 20, 2026. The race offers three adult trails ranging from an 8.5 km route for participants aged 16 and older, a challenging 20 km trail open to those 18 years and up, and the most demanding course at 30 kilometers designed for runners 20 years or older.
In addition to these exhilarating adult races, there are two fun-filled events tailored specifically for children. A short but spirited 700-meter run awaits kids aged seven to nine, while a slightly longer 1500-meter race is available for those ten to thirteen years old.
The event begins on Saturday with packet pickup from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the GALION Hall in Saint-Trojan-les-Bains. On Sunday morning, registration and dossiers collection will continue until 9:45 AM before moving into race day activities starting promptly after.
Participants can expect a warm-up session followed by briefings for each distance group leading up to their respective start times. The main event kicks off with the longest trail at 8:30 AM, closely followed by the mid-length course and then the shortest route through scenic trails and paths of Saint-Trojan. Once all races are completed, a ceremony will celebrate the achievements of runners from noon onwards.
The race routes take competitors on an enchanting journey across various landmarks in Saint-Trojan-les-Bains including the Pointe de Gatseau with its expansive beach views, lush forest tracks winding through the Domaniale Forest, and picturesque villas along Belle Époque-era streets. The event also includes a visit to the quaint fishing port where participants can experience local coastal life firsthand.
Runners will enjoy access to showers at Saint-Trojan’s football stadium after completing their respective courses. Whether you're looking for an invigorating challenge or simply want to take part in a festive community event, Explor'Run Saint-Trojan offers something special for everyone interested in discovering the beauty and history of this coastal gem.
