Experience the excitement of the FlatLands Cycling Race Series, held every Monday night from July to August in Fargo-Moorhead. Participants can join any race throughout the series, making it perfect for both seasoned cyclists and newcomers alike. The races take place at three distinct locations: Lions Trail System (Fargo) on 7/13 and 7/20; MB Johnson Park (Moorhead) on 7/27. Each location offers unique terrain that will challenge your skills while providing an exhilarating run under the stars. Race check-in begins early, from 5:45 to 6:15 for Open Category participants. A mandatory pre-race meeting is scheduled at 6:25 with a start time of 6:30. For Citizen and U23 categories, check-in opens between 5:45 and 7:15, followed by an important briefing at 7:25 before the race kicks off at 7:30. Every participant receives a numbered race plate that must be clearly visible on their handlebars for safety and scoring purposes. The series caters to various categories, ensuring there's something for everyone, including U23 racers who do not need FlatLands Cycling membership to compete in the U23 category standings. Race results are determined based on your best three performances across all races within each category. You can switch between categories during the series; however, points will only be counted towards the race night you participated in that specific category. For detailed information and updates about the event, including scoring rules and more, visit our official website at https://www.flatlandscycling.org/membership or check out the dedicated Race Series page. Join us for an unforgettable cycling journey through the vibrant landscapes of Fargo-Moorhead!
