Faith & Fitness 5k

On August 22nd, Saint Paul AME Church invites the community to join its annual Anniversary 5K Run/Walk. This family-friendly event celebrates faith, fellowship, and unity through a scenic course that winds around historic landmarks and green spaces near the church.
Participants can expect an early morning start with packet pickup from 7:00 a.m. until 7:55 a.m., followed by the race starting promptly at 8:00 a.m. The event welcomes runners of all abilities, offering both competitive and casual options to enjoy the day's festivities.
After crossing the finish line, participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt provided they register by August 3rd. Additionally, there is an awards ceremony around 9:15 a.m., recognizing top male and female athletes as well as age group winners from nine distinct categories.
This event not only promotes physical wellness but also strengthens community ties through shared experiences of faith and camaraderie. It’s an ideal opportunity for individuals to come together in support of Saint Paul AME Church's rich history and promising future.
