Fall Flash of the Palouse

Join us for a vibrant fall run through the picturesque Palouse region as we celebrate our annual race at Mountain View Park in Moscow, Idaho. On November 7, 2026, runners of all ages are invited to don their brightest and most colorful running gear and take part in either the challenging 10K or the more relaxed 5K course.
The event kicks off with a series of races designed for every level. At 10:00 AM sharp, participants gather at Mountain View Park, where they will be greeted by stunning autumn foliage and crisp air. The main events begin promptly at 11:00 AM, starting first with the spirited 5K race followed closely by the more demanding 10K route.
The 5K course offers a flat and straightforward experience along paved roads, making it ideal for beginners or those looking to enjoy the scenery without too much exertion. Runners will follow part of the longer 10K path but turn around at West Twin Road before returning back towards Mountain View Park.
For those seeking more challenge, the 10K loop presents a mix of terrain over rolling hills and winding roads. Starting from Mountain View Park, participants head out onto Mountain View Road, passing through Herington where they will encounter some notable inclines on Moscow Mountain Road. The course then loops back to finish at its starting point.
To cap off the morning festivities, young runners can participate in a fun 1K Kids Fun Run along designated paths within Mt. View Park right after the main races conclude. This short and sweet event provides an opportunity for children aged six and under to enjoy running while surrounded by family and friends.
