Fall Fling 400

Welcome to the CT Trailmixers annual Fall Fling 400 trail race, an adventure that awaits runners of all levels. This year’s event offers flexible entry options to suit your running journey, whether you're tackling your first trail challenge or aiming for a more ambitious ultra-distance.
For those new to the trails, the Fall Fling 400 is designed as a loop course covering approximately two miles. Participants can run as many laps as they wish within the generous time limit of four hours and forty minutes. While an ultra-distance option isn’t mandatory—covering at least 28 miles or 14 loops—it’s popular among enthusiasts looking to push their limits.
For experienced runners, the Fling Fanatic Series offers a compelling dual challenge: complete both Spring Fling 600 and Fall Fling 400 races. This series not only tests your endurance but also rewards you with an exhilarating experience of diverse terrain and stunning scenery.
Our course is meticulously marked to ensure safety while offering a wide range of terrains, from gentle slopes to more rugged paths, all set against the backdrop of Connecticut’s picturesque landscapes. The day promises to be filled with encouragement as participants are cheered on by spectators along the route. Additionally, our aid station boasts an impressive array of refreshments that have been praised for their quality and variety.
