FARM DREAMS! Experience an unforgettable weekend at the tenth edition of Farm Dreams, a unique blend of ultrarunning and community celebration. This beloved race is organized by local runners who aim to share their passion for ultra-distance running with friends and family while enjoying the serene beauty of a 350-acre grass-fed beef farm in Brooklet, Georgia. The event features three challenging yet rewarding distances: a six-hour run, a twelve-hour endurance challenge, and an exhilarating 24-hour race. All races commence at 9 AM on Saturday, with runners navigating through picturesque trails that weave between lush pastures and shaded woodlands. The course is marked by gentle terrain, making it suitable for both seasoned ultrarunners and newcomers alike. Along the way, participants will find a single aid station offering an array of sustenance including pizza, burgers, quesadillas, runner-friendly snacks like salty potatoes and gels, as well as water and sports drinks. Pacers are allowed to join runners, adding another layer of support throughout the race. Families are welcome; however, pets must remain at home. The event is capped at 220 participants, ensuring a close-knit atmosphere where every runner's effort can be celebrated. Top finishers in each category will receive medals and buckles for completing impressive distances: 50k within six hours, 50 miles in twelve hours, or 85 miles over 24 hours. The first ten runners to complete the grueling 100-mile distance will earn special buckles on-site; those who push beyond that mark will receive theirs shortly after. Runners and their crews are encouraged to camp at the farm for the duration of the event, with ample space available. A nearby town offers provisions and accommodation if needed, just a short 20-minute drive away. Water sources and portable restrooms are conveniently located throughout the course. Enjoy live music both on-site and along your route as you progress through Saturday afternoon into evening. Savory local grass-fed beef and pork from Hunter Cattle Company will be grilled all day long, complemented by vegetarian options for a diverse culinary experience. Race timing is meticulously managed by Grounded Running, ensuring that runners have access to real-time results at the on-site kiosk during their run. Sponsorship honors Luna Sandals, makers of premium outdoor adventure footwear crafted in America. This race also maintains a strict 100% cup-free policy, encouraging participants and spectators alike to bring reusable bottles or cups for hydration needs. Farm Dreams is more than just an ultra-run; it's about coming together as a community, sharing the love of running with friends and family, and creating lasting memories in nature. Donations are kindly requested from those planning to attend solely for the weekend experience—$40 per person—to help cover event costs while still keeping the spirit of inclusivity alive. Join us this year and see why Farm Dreams has become a highlight on many runners' calendars!
