Farnay Trail Solidaire

Lace up for a cause at the Farnay Trail Solidaire 2026, a premier charity racing event returning to the scenic hills of the Loire department on Sunday, March 29, 2026. Organized by the FARO Association, this trail festival combines athletic rigor with a deep commitment to community support. This year, every stride counts toward a greater purpose, as the event will be held to benefit the Jardin de Valériane. Based at the Loge du Trêve in Farnay (42), the race offers a perfect opportunity to experience the rugged beauty of the Pilat foothills while contributing to a meaningful local initiative.

The 2026 program features a tiered selection of technical courses, integrated into both the Pays du Gier Challenge and the St Etienne Métropole Challenge. Endurance specialists can tackle the 30.7 km Short Trail (1190m D+) starting at 08:30 AM, while those seeking a mid-range challenge can join the 16.7 km Trail (541m D+) at 09:15 AM. For a fast-paced "discovery" route, the 9.7 km Course (264m D+) departs at 09:45 AM. The event also fosters the next generation of runners with two dedicated children's races (800m and 2 km) held on the local health circuit, ensuring a family-friendly atmosphere throughout the day.

Registration is strictly limited to 700 bibs to maintain the quality and safety of the trails. Participants must sign up by midnight on Friday, March 27, 2026. In compliance with modern safety standards, FFA licensed runners must provide their license number, while non-licensed runners are required to provide a valid PPS (Health Prevention Path) code.
