Feed Charlotte 5K

Join us for the Feed Charlotte 5K Run/Walk on August 8, 2026, presented by the Stride Forward Foundation – a nonprofit organization established and led by high school students from the Charlotte area. The race will take place at McAlpine Creek Park, located at 8711 Monroe Rd in Charlotte, NC.
The Feed Charlotte 5K is more than just a run; it's an opportunity to make a tangible difference in your community. All proceeds generated from this event will be donated directly to local food banks, supporting individuals and families who face food insecurity. In North Carolina alone, Feeding America reports that approximately one in five children and one in seven people struggle with access to nutritious meals.

Participants will have the chance to experience the same terrain used for significant local and regional high school races like the Brooks South XC Regional Championships. Registration before July 17, 2026 guarantees a race t-shirt in your size upon arrival at the event or during packet pickup. After this date, shirts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis until supplies run out.
