Festival of Lights 5K

Dive into the heart of winter magic on December 11, 2026, with the Morrisville Festival of Lights 5K. This nighttime run and walk transforms the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail into a glowing spectacle as you set off at 6:30 PM under an array of snowflake lights. The course winds along the river for a flat and fast out-and-back journey through packed snow, illuminated by trail decorations and luminaries.
Participants are encouraged to deck themselves in headlamps and glowsticks, turning the runners into vibrant beacons as they navigate the scenic route. Upon reaching Oxbow Riverfront Park, revelers can enjoy s'mores, hot cocoa, live music, and awards amidst a festive atmosphere. The race is open for all ages, with early bib pickup available at Morrisville Gym on December 10th from 1 PM to 8 PM.
