Celebrate summer with a patriotic bang! This race is sure to be a fast one on the flat Renfro Valley course. Proceeds benefit the Mount Vernon Lions Club.

Event Details

Race start time 8:00 a.m. EST. Packet pickup and registration open 7:00-7:45 a.m.
Location: Renfro Valley Entertainment Center
$25 registration fee by Wednesday, August 12 includes a commemorative race t-shirt. (Shirts not guaranteed after August 12. Inventory will be updated on Runsignup).

Awards

Overall male and female race winner
Top three male and female runners in each of the following age groups: 12-under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80+
Top three fastest male and female walkers

NEW! Student Strides 2026

ALL students age 4-18 run FREE! No shirt included in registration, but may be added on for additional fee.
Students who complete at least 7 races will receive a $25 gift card and custom t-shirt at the end of the 2026 series!
Students must run or walk to be eligible for awards and incentives.
