First Aichi Trail Run Introduction (Higashiyama Park) - Beginner Workshop (はじめての愛知トレイルラン入門（東山公園）｜初心者向け講習会)

This introductory trail run tour in Nagoya is designed for people who are curious about trail running but nervous about heading into the mountains. It takes place in Higashiyama Park, a green city park a short walk from a subway station that feels like another world once inside the woods.
The route follows the park's popular Higashiyama Ten-Thousand-Step course, about 6 km around the perimeter, with forest paths, wooden steps and gentle ups and downs. Paved and unpaved sections mix for a cross-country feel. The aim is to enjoy the scenery, take breaks and experience the pleasure of running in nature.
Lunch is at the well-regarded Blanc Pain main bakery, known for its croissants, so a slightly larger backpack is suggested for taking some home. A convenience store is nearby.
The workshop is aimed at those with little or no trail experience, marathoners wanting to try running in nature, runners in their 40s and 50s who feel uneasy on descents and want to learn etiquette and equipment basics, and anyone who prefers a small group.
