About the Event

Join us for the First Annual Roger B. Lim Memorial Run as we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Roger B. Lim—a devoted husband, father, emergency physician, lifelong runner, and passionate supporter of youth soccer.

Roger dedicated his life to caring for others, both in the emergency department and in his community. Tragically, he was killed while driving home from work, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, service, and generosity.

Running was part of Roger's daily life, and this event honors the discipline, perseverance, and joy he found in every mile. Proceeds from the race will benefit a scholarship fund through the Catawba Valley Youth Soccer Association (CVYSA), continuing Roger's commitment to helping young athletes succeed.

Whether you run, jog, or walk, your participation celebrates Roger's life and helps invest in the next generation.
