The 2026 Newton Autumn Paved Loop Ride invites participants to explore the scenic roads of Kansas on four distinct routes. This year’s event starts and finishes at First Presbyterian Church, located at 900 Columbus Ave in Newton, Kansas. Riders can choose from a 60-mile loop for those seeking an endurance challenge, or opt for the 40-mile route if you're looking to push your limits but with less distance. For those who prefer something more moderate, there’s the 30-mile paved road option. Families and casual cyclists are also welcome on the family-friendly 3-mile ride along Sand Creek. All routes offer a looped experience that returns riders to their starting point at First Presbyterian Church. The event aims to provide an enjoyable atmosphere for participants of all levels, with rolling starts from 7:30 AM for distance riders, and breakfast available beginning at 7:00 AM. The family ride commences promptly at 8:00 AM. SAG support vehicles will be on hand throughout the course to ensure safety and assistance as needed. Additionally, a complimentary lunch is provided post-ride for all participants. T-shirts are guaranteed for those who register before August 28th; any remaining t-shirts can be purchased for $10 at the event. The ride offers not only a chance to enjoy the beautiful autumn scenery but also supports important local initiatives through Peace Connections and Harvey County Circle of Hope, focusing on poverty reduction efforts.
