Floss & Run returns to its cherished location on October 18th at the picturesque Rock Creek Country Club in Portland, Oregon. Surrounded by vibrant greenery and towering Douglas Firs, this serene setting transforms into an idyllic running haven under the cool autumn sky.
The event offers a variety of options for runners of all abilities, including both traditional and virtual races. The main attraction is the 5K Floss & Run, which kicks off at 9:10 am on race day. This professionally maintained course features gentle terrain that caters to everyone, ensuring an accessible experience.
For those preferring a more relaxed pace or needing extra time, the 5K Walk commences from 9:40 am onwards. Participants can also join in the fun of the 1K Brush Rush at 8:30 am, designed specifically for children aged 11 and under. This event not only introduces young athletes to running but also supports local dental care initiatives through the Tooth Taxi Foundation.
Registration fees start at $32.69 for the 1K Brush Rush, with both virtual and in-person options available. The main race costs $53.89, inclusive of a walk option priced similarly. Interested runners can sign up online via Raceroster.com until October 17th to secure their spot.
