Flower Moon

The Flower Moon trail races are a comprehensive endurance event held at Osage Hills State Park in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2026, the event is part of the Outlaw 100 series and is known for its community-focused atmosphere and inclusive race categories. The event offers a unique variety of traditional trail runs alongside "Ruck" divisions, where participants carry weighted packs to increase the physical challenge.

The event features a wide array of distances, all starting in the early morning to take advantage of the cooler spring temperatures. All races originate from the designated staging area at 216 County Rd 2427.

The Flower Moon event is designed to be accessible to various skill levels, from elite ultra-runners to those who prefer hiking the course.

• - Trekking & Pets: Trekking poles are permitted for all distances. Dogs are also welcome to join their owners but must remain on a leash at all times.
• - No Drop-downs: Once a race has started, runners cannot "drop down" to a shorter distance to receive a finisher medal for that distance. They must finish the event they started or be listed as a DNF (Did Not Finish).
• - Self-Sufficiency: Stashing supplies along the course is strictly prohibited. Runners must rely on official aid stations or what they carry personally.
• - Environmental Stewardship: A strict no-littering policy is enforced; violations are grounds for immediate disqualification.

The Outlaw series offers several unique benefits and discount structures to encourage family participation and community service.

• - Family Participation: A unique "Child Discount" provides one free entry for a child (15 and under) with every paid parent entry for the same or lesser distance.
• - Military Support: Active duty military and veterans are eligible for a 10% discount on entry fees by requesting a coupon code.
• - Volunteer Rewards: Volunteers earn race credits in 4 to 8-hour increments. Completing four shifts results in a free race entry for a future event.
• - Credit Policy: While the event does not offer refunds, participants can receive 100% race credit if they withdraw 90 days out, or 75% credit between 30 and 89 days before the race.
