Folding Mountain Ultra

The Folding Mountain Ultra takes place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, starting at 7:00 AM MDT from the Folding Mountain Brewing Taproom and Kitchen in Folding Mountain Village, Yellowhead County, Alberta, Canada – at the edge of Jasper National Park. Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Fiddle Range and Athabasca Valley, this celebration of grit, camaraderie, and big-mountain running offers 25KM, 60KM Solo, and 60KM Relay distances on rugged alpine terrain with exposed ridgelines and sweeping Rocky Mountain views.

Event Logistics and Participant Information:

• Age Requirement: Participants must be 18 years or older.
• Start & Finish Hub: The start and finish line at Folding Mountain Landing – home to Folding Mountain Brewing, Jasper East Cabins, and Jasper East Hostel – will be alive all day with music, food, and race-day energy.
• Course Maps: Separate course maps are available for the 25KM (The Folding Ascent) and 60KM (The Full Range) distances.

• 60KM – The Full Range (Solo & Relay): A rugged alpine ultra distance featuring steep climbs, exposed ridgelines, and rewarding descents that define the Rockies. The relay option allows two-person teams to share the challenge.
• Scenic Highlights: Dramatic backdrop of the Fiddle Range and Athabasca Valley, with sweeping views of the Canadian Rockies from exposed ridgelines.
• Terrain: Rugged alpine terrain including steep climbs, technical sections, and fast descents – a true big-mountain running experience.
• Race-Day Energy: The start/finish area at Folding Mountain Landing features all-day music, food, and a vibrant atmosphere for runners, crew, and spectators alike.
