As runners embark on this challenging yet rewarding course, they'll follow a trail that winds northward along the riverbank towards the historic tunnel near the Frederick Recreation Area. The route then circles around serene Milavec Lake, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. After passing by the lake, participants will head south to the Frederick Gateway at Colorado Boulevard and Highway 52 before looping back north toward Centennial Park for a triumphant finish.
