Welcome to the 2026 edition of Fredsloppet, where runners and walkers come together for peace and solidarity. This entirely charitable event raises funds each year for organizations that combat war and oppression. For this upcoming year, all surplus proceeds will be donated to Palestinian Groups Sweden to support their work in Palestine. Additionally, a portion (25%) of the excess funds collected will go towards supporting the Swedish-Cuban Association's efforts on/with Cuba. Participants can contribute to the cause by making voluntary donations via Plusgiro 947581-5 or Swish at 123 533 33 64. You also have the option of adding an extra donation upon registering for the event. A new feature this year is joining our Strava group to train together and motivate each other leading up to Fredsloppet: strava.app.link/LRbkLfz0X2b. Group registration offers a discount when you sign up at least six participants simultaneously, regardless of whether they're running the same distance. The event features various distances and times throughout the day: - 10:00 AM: The venue opens. - 12:15 PM to 14:45 PM (every 30 minutes): Mini-Fredslöp for a short distance of 0.2 km each time slot. - 12:00 PM: A run with a recommended age range of 7-9 years, covering 1.2 kilometers. - 13:00 PM: A race suitable for ages 10 to 12, spanning 2.2 kilometers. - 14:00 PM: A leisurely walk over 1.1 kilometer. - 15:00 PM and 15:10 PM: Competitive distances of 10 km and 5 km respectively, both with official timing. While these longer routes are timed events, participants can still enjoy them at a more relaxed pace if they prefer the shorter distance for walking. If you encounter technical difficulties or cannot pay online via card or Swish, manual registration is available by emailing info.fredsloppet@gmail.com and including your full name, class, and fees. Alternatively, send payment to Fredsloppets Plusgiro 947581-5 with a message containing either an email address or full names for confirmation. Late registrations can be made in cash up until one hour before each event start time on the day of the race at the venue itself.
