Join us for a Chico Running Club tradition our New Year’s Day 5k!

When: January 1, 2026 at 9:00am
Where: Bidwell Park, Sycamore Field near Caper Acres (Google Map)
What: Free New Year’s 5k on the official City of Chico Bidwell Park Course
Details: Start the New Year right with CRC’s New Year’s Day 5k run, with our race timing clock running for those of you who want a challenge on the first day of the year! It’s a Chico tradition! This is a free event, race bibs will not be assigned.
Food: We’ll have free refreshments- coffee, hot chocolate, donuts post race and CRC gear for purchase.
Prizes: will be given to the top finishers.
Donations: The race is free and everyone is welcome! Donations to CRC are much appreciated! Help us celebrate our 50th year!
