Freedom Racing-5 Trails Ultra & 3 Trails

Immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of West Sussex as you lace up for an unforgettable trail running experience. The 50k Ultra course weaves through five distinct trails, each offering its own unique charm and challenge.
Starting with the sinuous curves of the Serpent Trail, runners will find themselves navigating a path that winds gracefully around the landscape. Next comes New Lipchis Way, where you'll encounter rolling hills and scenic vistas stretching out before you. The West Sussex Literary Trail invites participants to explore winding paths lined with trees, immersing them in nature’s tranquility. Monarchs Way offers a historical touch as it follows ancient routes once traversed by royalty. Finally, the South Downs Way awaits, providing panoramic views of undulating hills and lush greenery.
For those seeking a more manageable distance, the Half Marathon route covers three trails: Serpent Trail, New Lipchis Way, and South Downs Way. This course also includes additional paths near Graffham that wind through charming countryside settings at the foot of the South Downs.
The race venue is nestled in Westerlands, offering stunning Downland views and ample parking for all participants. Throughout both distances, runners will enjoy well-stocked checkpoints every 10 to 15 kilometers on the Ultra route and one checkpoint midway along the Half Marathon course.
