About the Event

Join us for the inaugural costume relay race, taking place on Saturday before FoCo Fondo. This exciting event is perfect for bike enthusiasts and costumed adventurers alike.
Teams of 2 to 4 members are welcome, with a maximum limit of 24 teams. Each team will pedal through four laps, each measuring half a mile. The competition will unfold in several heats, ensuring that every participant gets their chance on the course. From these heats, one lucky team from each heat will advance to an exhilarating final round.
The stakes are high with two $100 Rio Grande Gift Cards up for grabs—one for the winning team and another for the most creative costume ensemble. All proceeds from this event will support Friends of FoCo Fondo, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to enhancing community cycling events.
Dress in your finest or wildest costume as you navigate through the scenic trails that offer a unique blend of fun and fitness. Lace up your shoes, gather your friends, and get ready for an unforgettable racing experience filled with laughter and camaraderie.
