Frigid Beast Feast

About the Event

The Frigid Beast Feast takes place from December 11–13, 2026, at Tickfaw State Park, 27225 Patterson Rd, Springfield, LA. This trail event offers distances from 3 miles to 150 miles on a 3-mile loop along the Tickfaw River. Runners will experience four ecosystems (cypress/tupelo swamp, bottomland hardwood forest, mixed pine/hardwood forest, and the Tickfaw River) with boardwalks and night swamp sounds. Poisonous snakes and alligators are on or around the trail — be fully aware. The main aid station at start/finish has ice, electrolytes, water, soda, snacks, and fully cooked food (including vegan options).
