The Frosty 5K scheduled for this Saturday has been cancelled.
The City of Waukesha has cancelled our permit due to the pending weather and our hands are tied without the permit.
We know this is disappointing, and we truly appreciate your understanding.
Although we have a no-refund policy that participants agreed to during registration, we will make this right.
Registration options (you do NOT need to do anything right now):
All registrations will automatically be deferred to the Frosty 5K in 2027.
If you’d rather not wait, we’re also happy to transfer your registration to any other Silver Circle–owned 5K or 10K.
Deferrals/transfers will be valid for 2 years, and we’ll share instructions soon on how to choose an alternate event if you’d like.
If you purchased a long sleeve shirt, it will be available for pickup next week (details coming soon). Shirts will also be available at the next Chilly Willy Winter Run Series event.

It’s the perfect excuse to bundle up, lace up, and get moving in that crisp, invigorating winter air. The fast and flat two-lap course loops around the scenic Fox River in beautiful Frame Park—perfect for speedsters, strollers, and everyone in between. It’s family-friendly, fun, and totally frosty. And the fun doesn’t stop at the finish line! With over 35 exciting JanBoree events happening throughout Waukesha all weekend long, there’s something for everyone.
We won’t pretend it’s warm—but every January, hundreds of bold and bundled runners show up to prove that Wisconsin winters are meant to be celebrated.
