About the Event
Experience the breathtaking beauty of Mount Fuji, Lake Kawaguchi, and Lake Shōji all at once on one of the world's most stunning race courses. This year, we're thrilled to introduce a brand-new event: "Scenic Run" on Saturday, October 12th! Entries are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The main attraction is our full marathon (42.195km) which offers runners an unparalleled view of the iconic Fuji Five Lakes region. For those looking for shorter distances, there's also a one-lap run around Lake Kawaguchi covering 8 kilometers and two versions of Scenic Run: a 4-kilometer route and an 8-kilometer option. Entry fees are as follows: - Full Marathon (42.195km): ¥12,900 - One Lap Around Lake Kawaguchi (8km): ¥7,900 - Charity Fun Run: ¥4,900 - Scenic Run 4km: ¥3,900 - Scenic Run 8km: ¥4,400 Early bird discounts are available for all events. For the full marathon, save ¥2,000 by signing up early; for Lake Kawaguchi's one-lap run and both versions of the Scenic Run, you can save ¥1,000 and ¥500 respectively. Participants aged 25 or younger receive a discount of ¥1,000 on all events. A baggage deposit service is available at an additional cost of ¥100 per bag, with an extra fee of ¥1,500 for pre-delivered packages if requested in advance. This event promises to be not only challenging but also incredibly rewarding as runners take in the awe-inspiring vistas and serene atmosphere that define this unique race course.
