XXXVIII Funimetrada i XIV Funimetrada Infantil

La Funimetrada és la cursa popular més important de Gelida, i una de les que té més història de l’Alt Penedès, amb 35 edicions. Es tracta d’una cursa contra el Funicular de Gelida, emblema del poble construït per salvar la distància entre l’estació de ferrocarril i el centre del poble.

El Funicular trigaria poc menys de 8 minuts en fer el recorregut entre les seves dues estacions. Un dels objectius de la cursa és intentar millorar aquest temps i arribar a la meta abans que ho faci el funicular.

Recollida de dorsals des de l’Estació Superior del Funicular (Passeig Rosell i Massana) des de les 17h fins 30 minuts abans de la cursa.

La Funimetrada Infantil té dues sortides simultànies: la Microfunimetrada, amb 450 metres de distància salvant un desnivell de 25 metres; i la Minifunimetrada, amb 550 metres de distància i 27 de desnivell.
