Funny Bunny Race 5K/1M

On April 10, 2027, runners and their families are invited to participate in an uplifting celebration that combines fitness with fun, all while raising awareness for Parkinson's disease. The International Parkinson’s Day Celebration is not just a race; it’s a vibrant community event designed to engage people of all ages and abilities.
The day begins early as participants gather at the starting line, where they are greeted by a lively atmosphere filled with music, laughter, and excitement. As runners set off on their chosen route, they will enjoy scenic views of the local parklands while navigating through various terrains that include flat stretches and gentle hills. The event offers options for both competitive racers and those looking to take part in a more leisurely walk or jog.
For non-competitive participants, there are numerous activities planned throughout the day. Carnival games cater to all ages, with classic favorites like ring tosses and face painting providing hours of entertainment. A petting zoo invites families to interact with friendly farm animals, creating memorable moments for children and adults alike.
Food vendors will be on hand offering a variety of delicious treats and refreshments, ensuring that everyone can enjoy some tasty snacks after their run or while they explore the festivities.
This event is more than just about crossing the finish line; it’s an opportunity to come together as a community in support of those affected by Parkinson's disease. Proceeds from the day will benefit Friends of Parkinson’s, which supports local support groups and educational forums aimed at improving lives through awareness and education.
Join us on April 10, 2027, for a day filled with fun activities, delicious food, and meaningful community engagement in honor of International Parkinson's Day.
