Gate2Gate Trail Run

The Gate2Gate Trail Run returns to Alachua, Florida on October 24th, showcasing the diverse trails of San Felasco Hammock Preserve State Park. This year’s event offers runners a challenging course through some of North Central Florida's most scenic and protected natural areas. Starting just north of I-75 near Gainesville, participants will experience both single-track mountain bike trails in the northern section and double track hiking paths further south within San Felasco Hammock Preserve State Park.
Race day typically sees temperatures ranging from 17 to 27 degrees Celsius with an average feel like temperature around 22.1C due to moderate humidity levels at about 75%. Runners should expect minimal rainfall, averaging just over two millimeters, and a slight breeze that could affect performance but remains manageable for most runners.

The race begins promptly with the 50K runners setting off at 7:30 AM followed by the 25K competitors starting ten minutes later due to the varying distances and course requirements.
