The event features a variety of distances to cater to all ages and abilities:
- Festive Family 1 Mile: A fun-filled run for children aged three to eleven years old, with their adult guardians running free. This short but sweet route is perfect for introducing young ones to the joys of trail running.

- Festive 5 Mile Trail Run and Festive 10 Mile Trail Run: For more experienced runners, these challenging courses wind through the castle's woodlands and parkland landscapes. The 10-mile run consists of two laps around the scenic grounds.
Participants will experience breathtaking views as they navigate paths that weave past ancient architecture and lush greenery. Canicross enthusiasts are welcome to join in on the longer distances with one well-controlled dog per runner, provided dogs remain on a lead at all times.
