Glazin' The Trail

Glazin' The Trail returns for its fourth annual donut-themed family run/walk on Saturday, 30 May 2026 at 9:00 AM CDT, starting at Kankakee Community College on College Drive in Kankakee, Illinois. This sweet event takes you along the beautiful trails around KCC and the Kankakee River. Run or walk at your own pace—timing is optional. Bring the whole crew, invite your neighbors, and yes, even bring your dog along for the fun.

Race day registration and packet pickup swing open at 8:00 AM. Want to make an even bigger impact? Gather pledges or donations to support Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet in Kankakee County. Every dollar raised helps the poorest and most vulnerable members of the community—seniors, those with disabilities, homeless prevention, housing programs, mobile food pantries, and the annual Back to School Fair. As of now, top fundraisers include Tara Mulcahy, Jennifer Wick, Maggie Snow, Sherri Funk, and Brandon Barrows.

No pressure to fundraise—just showing up with a smile (and maybe a donut-themed shirt) is plenty. This is a faith-based organization calling people of good will to serve. Lace up, grab the kids, leash the dog, and come glaze the trail.
