On November 14th, join us for a special run to support improved surgical care for those who currently lack access to it. This charity race takes place in Runst and aims to raise funds for healthcare initiatives in Africa where over five billion people cannot rely on safe operative services. Injuries like burns or complex fractures often result in lifelong disabilities or worse, which is why we're working with hospitals around the world to change this.
Our efforts are supported by BASICS of Global Surgery, a sustainable education model developed by Global Surgery Amsterdam. Through training programs and knowledge transfer, we aim to strengthen existing healthcare infrastructure so that improvements can endure long after our involvement has ended. Every euro raised during this event goes directly towards these vital training initiatives without any administrative overhead.
