Experience running like never before with Go Beyond Challenge’s Going Round in Circles – an innovative race that takes you on a unique journey through London’s iconic Circle Line. Starting from Gail’s Bakery by Paddington, runners collect their race numbers and trackers to begin this circular adventure.
Choose your path: run solo or team up for a dynamic relay experience. Whether running clockwise or anticlockwise around the 27 stations of the yellow line, each participant must capture a selfie at every stop as proof of completion. For those in pairs, one runner can ride the Tube with a daily travelcard to meet their partner at predetermined locations, while the other runs between stations. This allows for an efficient relay system where runners swap trackers and cards to keep moving.
The distance varies from station to station, ranging from 0.2 miles to 1.2 miles per segment, adding up to approximately 16 miles of running in total. With no official checkpoints along the way, participants can enjoy a self-guided tour through bustling city streets and charming neighborhoods. Should you need a break or require medical attention, London’s extensive public transportation network ensures easy access back to the starting point.
Upon finishing your challenge at Gail’s Bakery by Paddington, every runner is rewarded with a custom Circle Line Challenge medal. The event concludes with a well-deserved celebration featuring cake and coffee in this cozy bakery setting, providing runners with an opportunity to relax and reflect on their journey around London's historic landmarks and vibrant communities.
