Good Neighbor Days

The Good Neighbor Days 5K, presented by Uftring Washington, dashes through Washington, Illinois on Saturday, 30 May 2026 at 7:30 AM CDT. Starting and finishing at Five Points Washington on North Wilmor Road, this event also features a 1 Mile Run/Walk for all ages and levels, plus Kids Fun Runs for the littlest neighbors. Rain or shine, this fast, community-loved course delivers—and every 5K and 1 Mile entry scores a free post-race pancake breakfast.

Kids ages 1–10 take over the finish line area at 9:00 AM. Distances break down by age: 8–10 years run ½ mile, 6–7 years run ¼ mile, and 5 & under run 50 meters. Parents are welcome to join the smallest runners (up to age 5). Kids can enter multiple races for one fee—just $12 per child.

Awards run deep. 5K overall: top 3 males and top 3 females. No double dipping—so if you win overall, you're out of the age group awards. 5K age groups: top 2 males and females in 10 & under, 11–14, 15–18, 19–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–69, and 70 & over. 1 Mile overall awards: top 3 males and top 3 females. Kids Fun Runs are untimed and all about having a blast.

Packet pickup is at Five Points Washington on Friday, 29 May from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and again on race day morning from 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM. You can grab packets for friends and family. Parking is available at Five Points Washington or the Central Intermediate School lot. The presenting sponsor is Uftring Auto Group, with timing and scoring by ShaZam Racing.
